W-GATE Wireless Gateway

W-GATE is the wireless fire systems gateway that acts as a bridge between the MS-9200UDLS and MS-9600(UD)LS fire alarm control panels (FACPs) and wireless fire devices. The wireless gateway uses mesh technology to communicate with the devices and offers high reliability for commercial applications. The W-GATE can be installed anywhere on the SLC and is an excellent solution retrofit and “hard to wire” applications. The W-GATE requires a W-DIS-D (Wireless Display Driver) and ANN-80-W (ANN-80 Annunciator, White).

W-DIS-D Wireless Display Driver

W-DIS-D is a Wireless Display Driver that is required to annunciate any wireless-specific events from the system. It receives the event information from the wireless network and then connects to a dedicated ANN-80-W for annunciation. All standard fire alarm events will report on the MS-9200UDLS and MS-9600(UD)LS just like a standard wired device. Any wireless-specific events (such as a low battery), will annunciate a general trouble at the FACP and specific information on the ANN-80-W.

ANN-80-W Annunciator

ANN-80-W is a compact, backlit, 80-character LCD annunciator that can be used to annunciate wireless-specific events. It connects to the W-DIS-D Wireless Display Driver using a two-wire serial interface employing the ANN-BUS communication format. Two additional wires from the host FACP are required for power. Any wireless-specific events (such as low battery), will annunciate a general trouble at the FACP and specific information on the ANN-80-W.

W-H355/W-H355R Wireless Heat Detectors

W-SD355 and W-SD355T addressable, wireless photoelectric detectors use a state of the art photoelectric sensing chamber to provide open area protection. The W-SD355T adds thermal sensors that will alarm at a fixed temperature of 135⁰F (57⁰C). They are intended for use with the MS-9200UDLS and MS-9600(UD)LS Addressable Fire Alarm Control Panels. The W-SD355 and W-SD355T communicate with the fire alarm control panels through a wireless mesh network to the W-GATE wireless gateway.

W-MMF Wireless Addressable Monitor Module

W-MMF addressable, wireless monitor module is a standard-sized module that supervises either a Style D (Class A) or Style B (Class B) circuit of dry-contact input devices. It can be used for a variety of applications, such as monitoring conventional pull stations. This module is designed to supervise a circuit of dry-contact input devices and are intended for use with the MS-9200UDLS and MS-9600(UD)LS Addressable Fire Alarm Control Panels. The W-MMF communicates with the fire alarm control panels through a wireless mesh network to the W-GATE wireless gateway.

Why wireless fire alarm system?

A fire alarm system alerts the people about a fire outbreak, just in time to evacuate the premises. An advanced and relatively new introduction to this system is a wireless fire alarm monitoring system. This system is completely wireless and has the latest technology required to detect a fire.

  • Wireless fire alarm monitoring is faster, safer and more reliable than phone-based systems that can fail from environmental factors.
  • Businesses who move to wireless can disconnect their unneeded land lines and save up to 25% on their fire monitoring expenses each month.
  • Wireless fire alarm monitoring eliminates “false alarms” to the fire department whenever a phone line fails.

Inspection services include:

  • Testing of all systems & equipment: alarms, monitors, electronic controls, fire extinguishers, sprinklers, fire pumps, wireless connectivity
  • Adjusting of equipment & monitors
  • Documentation & verification of procedures (for code & insurance compliance)
  • Training for system use & updates
