A 5-alarm fire broke out around a downtown Houston apartment building on March 25th. Investigators are not sure what caused the fire and it was reported that no one was injured.
The apartment building was 5 stories high and still under construction. The Houston fire department is investigating the cause and also the damaged building to determine what will be the next step for the developer of the building. One of the reasons why this building was not fitted with a fire alarm is due to the fact at the time of the fire, the building wasn't completed 100%. There are many ways commercial and residential buildings can be protected from such events of emergency.
Fire Alarms will protect your property from fire damage. State-of-the-art devices, such as an addressable fire alarm system, which is suited for stand-alone applications, are perfect for apartment buildings. In recent years, there has been a vast improvement in the fire alarm technology. With the latest technology, it's much easier for professionals to monitor and maintain fire alarms for large apartments, movie theaters, department stores, food stores, places of worship, restaurants, small retail outlet stores; and other facilities requiring performance-based, sophisticated technology at a reasonable cost.
